I've been banging myself over and over between two playing styles, and two decisions. Play To Loose, which is essentially logic, or rolling, the more fair system, less arguing?
After countless discussions, topics, even more discussions, and several glasses of water later, I've decided to go back to play to loose.
Why?
Need I remind you of the name of our community. Freedom Roleplay. Apparently I've forgotten that freedom doesn't mean restricting your roleplay to numbers, or a pair of dice. It means giving each and every player the freedom to make their character WHO they want to be. Sure, Freedom has it's problems. There are going to be disagreements, people might not understand the new system. But we're not going to take the easy way out. We are not going to give up, and switch to rolling just because newbies do not understand this freedom that they are given. Each and every staff member, and hopefully community members, will TAKE it upon themselves to teaching new players play to loose. Rolling is the easy way out, less problems, less arguments, less freedom.
